Previous update (August 20): the official patch added 15 new customers to Story and Endless modes. Community documentation has since identified 9 of them — 6 with confirmed doppelganger tells (Corey Bishop, Danielle Bennett, Dmitri Markov, Mateo Benitez, Toby Finch, and Youssef Morad) and 3 seen only as humans so far (Kelechi Okafor, Margot Beaumont, and Oswald Snoot) — and they now appear in the list below.

Doppelganger Detection Guide
Three methods work together for reliable identification. Use all three on every customer, every shift, without exception:
- Paperwork verification: Check the customer's ID and cross-reference in the computer system. Inconsistencies in name, date, or purpose are red flags.
- Questioning: Ask customers about their visit. Real customers give natural, varied answers. Doppelgangers tend to repeat scripted responses.
- Behavioral observation: Watch for unnatural stillness, mechanical movement, avoidance of eye contact, or delayed reactions.
Execute suspected doppelgangers BEFORE they complete payment. If they escape, they return later as a monster. Executing a real human costs reputation — but it's better to be safe than sorry.
Critical Rule: Never skip the detection workflow on any customer — including repeat visitors. A customer who was human in shift 4 could be a doppelganger in shift 8. Every customer, every shift, without exception.
